Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Our Goal

Our goal is to bring people to Christ by bringing Christ to people. The heart of our life together at Good Shepherd is worship, where Jesus Christ comes to us through the power of the Holy Spirit, working through God’s Word, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as we develop as followers of Christ. We welcome you to join us in this journey of faith as we delve into God’s Word, proclaim Christ’s salvation and live each day empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Our Mission Statement

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a caring, growing family of believers in Christ, who worship together and proclaim and teach the Gospel to all generations in our community and the world through programs of Christian education, fellowship, and service.

Get Involved

Altar Guild

Do you love serving others? Then, Altar Guild is the right place for you! The main purpose of Altar Guild is to serve the church by ensuring the sanctuary is maintained and prepared for the various seasons of the church year. This group sets up, cleans, and puts away the sacramental vessels and linens for each service. They also decorate the chapel for holidays. Call the church office if you would like more information.

Joy Club

Join us for movies on the first Tuesdays of the month and games on the 4th Tuesdays of the month. We will be meeting at Rosemary’s house until further notice.

Music

Love to sing? Love to praise God? Join our Shepherd’s Choir! We rehearse every Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. at Rosemary Perry’s house. See Rosemary for more details.

Have some music experience? No music experience? Perfect! Come join our Shepherd’s Handbell Choir! We’ll show you how to ring and “read” music. Beginning in September, we will practice after choir on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Talk to Karyn Collie if you are interested!
